The Aboukir Restaurant, situated just 5 minutes walk from the Carnoustie High Street, provides a varied selection of locally produced fresh foods from suppliers such as Beef from Balmachie Farm and Hatton Farm Pork.

Our restaurant seats 45 with comfortable booths giving private space for couples and small groups. Our larger tables can accommodate larger groups up to 25 people. Our range of fine wines are sourced from Waverley, who are suppliers of such fine wines as French Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Spanish Campo Viejo Rioja and Italian Sartori Pinot Grigio.

We are the only restaurant in Carnoustie who supply fresh fish, caught on the day from the North Sea by Derick Spink. Our highly trained chefs prepare the fish on the premises which is then served with hand made dressings and market fresh produce.

Our cuts of beef are also prepared on the premises ensuring that the best cuts are always served to you the customer. The cuts will also be cooked to your liking and served with our classic steak garnish.

Unique to our restaurant is the locally caught shell fish. Caught over the chefs doorstep and hand delivered by the fishermen, there is no other place in the local area that supply shell fish as fresh as the Aboukir. The shell fish consists of Fresh Dressed Crab and Lobster Thermador. We also source mussels from Shetland which are delivered to our retaurant the next day.

While we have a set menu, we also have a selection of vegetarian dishes and a set kids menu.
